Description
This Patek Philippe World Time watch with cloisonné dial is usually described as “a lot of watch”. The 5131/1P is without question an uber-luxe travel time piece. This timepiece has a platinum “brick” style bracelet and features a matching bezel. The cloisonné dial centre depicts a world map as seen from the North Pole and comes with a mix of browns, green and blue and is joined by an intricately shaped gold wire forming the coast of the visible continents. The rest of the dial features cities tracks, 24-hour ring on separate discs, both finished with the same radial brushing but finished in different colors. Like all other Patek Philippe World Times, this is powered by the cal. 240 HU, a micro-rotor automatic with a world time, or heure universelle, module on top.
