The chronograph isn’t just the 5170 in a platinum case but with new baguette diamond hour-markers (as opposed to Arabic numerals) and a new blue sunburst dial with dark outer edges. It comes with alligator strap, the luster of hand-finished bezel and case, as well as the intricacy of the modern caliber 29535. An overall handsome upgrade to the 5170, the ref. 5170P-001 puts its platinum to near-perfect use.
